UCF/Memphis BB thread...

Thats not how it works. Rankings change. RPI changes too. It's about crrent. Not what happened 2 months ago when a team was perceived to be better.

You said we don't belong on the court with a top 25 team. Well, we beat a top 25 team on their home court no less.

Alabama is not a top 25 team. I don't see them in the rankings. Being overranked early on during non-conference play doesn't mean a team is top 25 caliber.

Real RPI still denotes them as a quality win though. http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_141_Men.html

Man if we couldve beaten Houston...so close.
Jay Bilas hates the Q1 status for determining good wins. Mentioned beating the 75th ranked team at their home is considered the same as beating Villanova at our home. Beating the best team in country should not be the same as beating the 75th best team no matter where the games are played. No offense but if we beat a team, they probably arent a top 25 team. Granted in a Conference Championship where fatigue could set in or an upset on other side of bracket could benefit us, we could run the table and get in. Not looking forward to playing Cincys D and not excited about Whichita ST even only 17 miles from home but I'd like our chances against anyone else.
