That would be "his" qb starting two years from now as well, and unless he played some this year, he'd still have all four years left (at least 3 in worst case scenario). This would be a big commit. Offer list was impressive...most impressive.

Bruh, the QB's we have are good but not the dual threat QB's needed to run the offense. Mariota was very rare in that he had the tools to run that offense and have what it takes in the NFL. These kids are usually one or the other.

they are diamonds in the rough for a reason. Yes a few work out great but when you fill a class with guys no other notable program wants the 2015 season happens. The numbers prove this

Interesting to see how our recruiting has improved over the years even in down years now. There were 3 guys who made the NFL from that class (all rated 5.0-5.3 and had 2 stars) and as seniors led us to the Liberty Bowl victory and a 20th ranking. Miller, Troup and Reid. All drafted as well.

Surprised this kid is under the radar... and only 2 stars...looks to have tons of upside....hopefully a nice fit w/ Frost..could be interesting

Obviously the kid is a tremendous athlete. Quite a few of his passes probably would have been at least deflected, possibly intercepted vs better competition. That being said, if Frosty likes him, I'm on board.

Seems highly unlikely at this stage that we have a new QB registered by start of Jan. semester. Next year if we get 6 wins, it will be big.
