Rivals has continued its partnership with Pro Football Focus (PFF) which grants me access to their comprehensive analytics and statistical tools.

After each game, two separate analysts grade every player on each play of the game and the two totals are averaged out. Obviously no subjective ranking system is perfect, but I am finding that my real world impressions of a player in a certain game usually reflects the PFF grade.

PFF Grading Scale

90 and above - Elite
80 to 89 - Great
70 to 79 - Good
60 to 69 - Average to Above Average
50 - 59 - Below Average
49 and below - Poor

Team Offensive Grade (by game)

Kent State - 74.6
Boise State - 82.4
Villanova - 82.6
Kansas State - 68.1
Baylor - 70.5
Kansas - 76.3
Oklahoma - 65.8
West Virginia - 72.1
Cincinnati - 78.1

Overall Offensive Player Grades (Snaps Played)

RB RJ Harvey (52) - 91.1
WR Javon Baker (46) - 83.2
LG Adrian Medley (64) - 81.8
TE Alec Holler (55) - 70.8
LT Tylan Grable (64) -70.6
RB Johnny Richardson (16) - 69.1
TE Zach Marsh Wojan (18) - 68.0
RT Amari Kight (64) - 67.1
QB John Rhys Plumlee (63) - 64.7
RG Lokahi Pauole (64) - 62.9
C Drake Metcalf (28) - 60.9
WR Trent Whittemore (19) - 57.0
WR Jarrad Baker (48) - 55.2
WR Kobe Hudson (55) - 54.8
TE Randy Pittman (15) - 49.9
C Bula Schmidt (36) - 49.8

Like last week, I decided to wait until Tuesday to post the grades which should reflect the final review.

RJ Harvey posting an elite 91.1 grade.

Bula had a rough game vs. WVU, which I believe prompted the switch to start Drake Metcalf vs. Cincinnati, but Drake had snapping issues again so they went back to Bula.

Marcellus Marshall is nursing a minor injury, so Adrian Medley started in his place and had the highest grade among OL.
