Obviously that could change in the short term but he mentioned that he doesn’t want to go in the portal for massive numbers every offseason (like Norvell at FSU has done) ..said the short term fix comes at a long term cost.

the other thread there is a Pitt account that says the Pitt OC may join his staff here . Assume Beckton is a lock and KZ will get offered something I would assume. Then we’ll see if he wants Kam to stay and vice versa.

Interesting that Terry reached out to Frost 2 yrs ago about being an OC. What that at UCF? If so, that could not have sat well with Gus. Just goes to show that he knew two years ago that we were not going in the right direction.
If you remember, Hinshaw was forced on Gus for play calling purposes two years ago that may have been it. Would’ve been real interesting to see Frost with Gus.

when Scott mentioned Gabe reaching out to him it made me think of Boggs..wish he would have at least waited till we hired the next coach
Would've been nice to get him, but he also committed/decommitted to like 3 or 4 schools so odds of him sticking around probably would've been slim anyways.
I am really excited about the next few years of UCF football and really hope Frost can pull this off. It would also be great if he is successful that he sticks around for a while. It sounded to me in his press conference that he realizes money and prestige isn’t what makes a great life.
