Seeing the stats going around comparing MK and KZs first season. Do you guys think what we perceive as "it" factor could have been KZs rushing?
I would even say more people wanted DG to stay than wanted KZ to stay after Arkansas State debacle.
I find it interesting, if Milton didn't come along Gabriel performance on the field would be highly praised virtually universally. The bar was set very high. Yet, he is considered a non leader who did not win enough. At the same time, Keene is also being favorably compared to Milton as the next star because his freshman numbers have some resemblance to Milton's freshman year. Gabriel's freshman stats are considered nge because he lost to Tulsa.
Beat the Gators and play great in doing it and we build a statue for Mikey Keene. 
This is not true. The comparisons with M and KZ are there to show that people are unfairly judging MK and that he may have as much upside as KZ. There is no way to know until next season. The comparison is used to get people to lay off MK and the "it factor" BS that they selectively bring out. KZ did not really show the it factor until 2017. The "it factor comments" came from the coaches and players at practice, not from our fans who were calling for his replacement
It's also setting expectations that he is on the trajectory to be the next Milton, during a time where Gabriel level of performance is considered insufficient.
It’s always fun to play armchair qb on message boards but this is just one post worth of examples why we shouldn’t yet judge Keene.
