UCF Knights freshman running back Taevion Swint made a name for himself with Knight Nation when he became a hometown hero commit to the Knights despite uncertainty with the coaching staff.

He continues to form a bond with the UCF community through his NIL portfolio, which allowed him to host a meet and greet at Portillo's restaurant to talk to fans and give back to his high school community.

Report here by Dwayne Jones ... for the Sons of UCF.

This young man is going to thrive in the Frost / Milton offense.

I could see the TE pulling to lead some of his big running plays as they used a pulling
lineman in the video below.

Quick observations : 1. recognizes holes quickly, plants and goes; 2. Exceptional straight line speed;
3. is a bit of a glider (posit1ve thing) through hole and through and around tacklers; 4. not a showoff,
knows his business and his very aware of his surroundings; 5. he is a good height for a RB and should be close to 210 by the time he gets to be a senior, if he lasts that long. 6. Welcome Taevon!

Anybody who thinks he is a glider needs to watch some Eric Dickerson film. Good, but not great speed (like Killins had (fastest player we ever had IMO)....probably more like Johnny Richardson, but larger). Accelerates through the hole which means no hesitation or dancing around (looking at you Storm Johnson). Runs with good balance, like a Kevin Smith.

Looking forward to seeing how he adjusts to the college game.
