Yeah, not good, especially that one recruit's account. Travis Fisher hasn't exactly made a good impression on us fans thus far as a coach.
Also if "Selling a bright, shiny UCF Cadillac coming off a Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor two years ago was a piece of cake.", then we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.

This article is spot on. Our program is in shambles and GOL cannot fix it. It is time to move on.
When you have lost the recruits then you might as well start over. GOL has to get his current players to play better, find better assistants and turn the recruiting situation around. That's a lot for a 70 year old man to do. Get somebody new, young with energy that can excite the fans, players, boosters and recruits.
Definitely a screw up by Fisher and hopefully is not the way he does things, but the corner was never coming here anyway and the greatest recruiter couldn't win him over after Furman.
He may not have come hear but how many other recruits did he just turn off with those comments? A happy person tells another person, a pissed off person tells 10.
Get the facts straight. You are supposed to show up 2 hours prior to kickoff and the kid didn't show up.

UCF puts people in the pros and players get their degree. Who the heck cares that we are 0-3 and lost to Furman. That's just stupid.

We've had recruits show up and watch us get our @$$es handed to us by 4 TDs.
A 1 point loss to Furman smarts. It's not good. But we've been here before with bad games in front of recruits. That's going to happen with any program, even after GoL is gone.
If a kid is worried about how well we do, he's likely not going to pick us over a P5. In fact, most of those who saw it as a negative didn't have UCF on his high list any way.
Playing time, graduation rates, etc... are who we are going to target. It's also why some kids leave us (e.g., playing time) in good years ... or a P5 for that matter too.
These guys are great at media propaganda and paraphrasing too.

To be fair there was a point in time that South Florida said they have not lost to UCF in college football history.
