As the UCF Knights football team continued their 2024 spring practice, two important elements they are looking to define early are leadership and toughness. With a strong returning core already in place, some of the younger players, including DE Malachi Lawrence, WR Xavier Townsend, and TE Randy Pittman are looking to step up and lead their respective position groups. New Defensive Coordinator Ted Roof is also looking forward to seeing more consistency as they look to set the standard in 2024.
