UCF's spring semester begins Monday, but that's not a hard deadline for transfers to enroll. There is some leeway, especially with grad transfers.
In the past week, UCF picked up three important commitments: QB KJ Jefferson (Arkansas) on Monday, S Deshawn Pace (Cincinnati) on Wednesday and LB Jesiah Pierre (Texas Tech) on Friday.
UCF is still actively recruiting the LB, DB, WR and OL positions.
ECU CB Antione Jackson is committing to a school today, per his social media. UCF is one of his top schools. Mississippi State is also in there. The former four-star prospect actually signed with Miami coming out of Dillard High School last year, but asked out of his NLI and ended up at ECU. I'm not exactly sure of the circumstances. There was buzz Miami could re-recruit him this time around, though I'm not sure that happened.
As a freshman at ECU, Jackson played in 10 games and started three. He finished with 19 tackles, three breakups and one interception, which was a pick-six. Final PFF season grade was 66.3.
UCF signee Jaylen Heyward tweeted this yesterday:
I haven't heard anything definitive, but seems like one to watch.

Other players I'm monitoring:
Idaho LB Xe'ree Alexander did indeed visit UCF during the middle part of last week. He then took a quick trip to Michigan State before returning home to Seattle.
He also has offers from Washington, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Oregon State and several others. He has family in Florida, which could be a plus.
During his first season with the FCS Vandals, Alexander recorded 74 tackles, four TFLs, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He would have three years of eligibility remaining.

Ohio State freshman WR Bryson Rodgers also visited UCF in the middle part of the week. He played in two games this past season, preserving a redshirt. All the buzz about his visit was extremely positive and it is believe he will announce a decision soon.

Ole Miss (and former Rockledge/Auburn) DB/LB Ladarius Tennison. He would be a huge pickup. I posted about him on Friday:
==
Virginia Tech (and former Georgia Southern) CB Derrick Canteen is also in the mix. He played in all 13 games at VT this past season as a regular contributor. He finished with a season PFF grade of 65.8. He was one of Georgia Southern's top players in 2022.
He is also considering Cincinnati.
==
UNLV (and former LSU) LB Zavier Carter. He was a former four-star in the 2021 class. He played sparingly at LSU and transferred to UNLV this past season. At UNLV in 11 games, Carter was a reserve and finished with 14.0 tackles and 2.0 sacks. According to PFF, Carter saw an average of 20 snaps per game in the first five games, then his reps heavily decreased in the latter half of the season. Finished with a very high grade of 83.6.
==
Temple OT Victor Stoffel. A native of Sweden, the experienced starter is down to UCF, Cal and Texas A&M.
Stoffel has been at Temple since 2019 and was their starting right tackle. He earned a 73.6 season grade according to PFF. He missed the first five games of 2022 due to injury - his first game back was Temple's 70-13 loss at UCF (he graded at 52.8 in that game).
Texas A&M just added commits this weekend from Derrick Graham (Troy) and Ar'maj Reed-Adams (Kansas). I thought UCF might have been in the mix for Graham (he's from the Orlando area), but he apparently visited Pitt prior to A&M.

Florida OG Richie Leonard. Originally from Cocoa, just hit the portal officially on Sunday. Grad transfer. He started 12 games at left guard this past season.

Interesting name to watch in the transfer portal...
Two years ago in December 2021, former Auburn and Rockledge safety Ladarius Tennison visited UCF during his first time in the transfer portal but ultimately went to Ole Miss. He's now back in the portal as a grad transfer. He's only 5-foot-9, 200 pounds, but actually moved to LB this past...
