UCF Transfer Portal Updates

If you want amateur college football like it was, coaches salaries are capped at well below $1 million, stadiums don't have NFL like amenities, no suites, no indoor practice facilities, only big games are nationally broadcast. The entire process has to be amateur, not just the athlete actually playing it. However, fans want professional sports level coaching staffs, facilities, stadiums, broadcasting, and the best of the best players.

Eventually there will be a split, kind of like FBS and FCS. Do you want to be a program that is professionally ran, or do you want to be closer to college football like it used to be?

Don't think College athletics should become the minor leagues for the pros. So since I am rapidly becoming older than dirt I think I like it the way it was before NIL and the present day portal. I am also not sure it is what's best for young players, of whom 90% will never see the pros.

the worry is the status of the OLine but I do think Frost can get by with less talent on offensive skill positions ‘AAC level’ and just show that he runs a QB and WR friendly offensive scheme then hopefully the next recruiting cycle the talent level jumps.

UCF needs a transfer QB bc the depth chart is too thin but Rizk being his guy is the better scenario for the locker room.
The o-line makes or breaks you along with a 1/2 way good defense!

Lmao. You are so stupid. Who will he know in the NFL? He’s a late round NFL pick dummy. He’s looking for a bag this year…his stock is not going to improve. You are literally always wrong on all your takes…driving time? Lmao.

Nobody has more money than Texas. Nobody. Lee Hunter will play for the team that gives him the bigger NIL deal. He should have left last year TBH. If Texas really wants him then he is going there.
Yeah. Hunter will forsake multi-year relationships, familial obligations, comfort level, and immediate playing time as an every down full time starter to "chase a bag."

Hate to be the fly in your ointment, but both programs produce a high number of draft picks.

Wow Lee Hunter to Texas Tech

Stop embarrassing yourself. So don’t post anymore?

Ryan Browne QB Purdue is setting up a visit. Played in 8 games this year, 530 yards passing. 3 years left.

Kind of fits the mold of bringing in a one year guy and a guy with several years of eligibility from the portal.

Texas Tech is the program that got Lee to go to the portal…he planned on staying at UCF. TT has a new billionaire booster, this won’t be the last whale they get.
Revisionist post much? You said what Texas wants Texas gets.

"Nobody has more money than Texas. Nobody. Lee Hunter will play for the team that gives him the bigger NIL deal. He should have left last year TBH. If Texas really wants him then he is going there."

Look dummy…I told you that he was looking for the bigger payday no matter who the team is. If Texas wanted him, they would outbid Texas Tech.

Now go back to posting about driving distances and similar stupidity. It’s 2024 soon to be 2025.

Transfer portal is easily fixed. NIL contracts with buyouts. Right now they are completely one-sided. 3 year deals. If you leave, there is a buyout. The jumping will slow down immediately. Imagine if the NFL was all one year deals.
