I don’t think classes start until Monday. Usually a week or 2 after that is deadline to enroll.Signs online that Chasen Johnson might be coming back? How?? I thought he signed with SMU?
And honestly, with the DB room we have now, not sure about that decision….what in the world.
Gotta assume Jackson is the favorite but will be interestingQB position looking acceptable for 2025. It gives the coaches some breathing room to recruit in 2026 next exceptional QB to take team into playoffs with 2 very strong recruiting classes in upcoming years. All is not lost.
We have some options now. Wasn't comfortable with only the original 2. Didn't want to enter season like that. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact KZ has on the QB room. He learned a lot about reading defenses quickly from His QB coach under Frost. We definitely upgraded in QB intelligence with new coaching staff.Gotta assume Jackson is the favorite but will be interesting
Love Rizk’s back shoulder throws and Brown may be the wildcard. Skill wise maybe similar to Mack who was good enough under the Frost and Heupel hybrid system
But he wasn't really, in 2017 Frost tabbed true freshman Vedral as the backup instead (and kept Mack's redshirt). Then in 2018, Heupel really tried to bring in a better option but couldn't (one of those being a then unknown Brock Purdy) I assume because MM had 2 years of eligibility at that point. Heupel dumped Mack as soon as he could as I imagined he realized he could never be a good enough passer.Skill wise maybe similar to Mack who was good enough under the Frost and Heupel hybrid system
I just don’t see Brown other than a goal line qb. Jackson was a high recruit in HS. I agree he’s the favorite coming out.Gotta assume Jackson is the favorite but will be interesting

Also Jackson seems high character based on comments from Vol and Indiana fans, could emerge as a Program leader if he wins the job. Athletic family w his brother playing for the Golden State Warriors.I just don’t see Brown other than a goal line qb. Jackson was a high recruit in HS. I agree he’s the favorite coming out.
He will get a legitimate shot, but when it’s all said and done, and the dust settles, he’s not the quarterbackI believe Jacurri will get a legit shot to compete for the starting job with the other 2. Frost recruited him in college
Jamaal Johnson is back with UCF. Nobody on here gives two shits about Malzahn.Whether you want to admit it, Gus built a solid program.
Of the 22 UCF transfers (including Agiye Hall) who hit the portal in this cycle, 15 have signed with FBS programs, including 13 with P4 programs. Only walk-on Rece Adkins and Tyree Patterson signed with G5 programs. Kaven Call and Johnathan Cline signed with FCS's East Tennessee State.
Only Jamaal Johnson, Riley Trujillo, Chauncey Magwood, (former walk-on) Colton Boomer, and Hall (dismissed) remain unsigned.
In 2022 and '23, the Hype_L transfers were signing with NAIAs and jucos.
Man, doesn't Scott Frost make that UCF Orlando gear look so much better than Malzahn did? With all of that goofy ass booming.

Solid programs don't completely fall apart over the course of 4-5 games....your wannabe boyfriend was a total disasterWhether you want to admit it, Gus built a solid program.
I agree. He will get a legitimate shot, but when it’s all said and done, and the dust settles, he’s not the quarterback
Heart goes out to the kid. He was doped to play for Gus!OK, we are officially screwed.....
Agiye Hall hit the transfer portal......who is going to keep airport TSA workers on their toes now?
Lot of blame has to fall on the UCF fans. They didn't donate enough. They didn't cheer loud enough. They didn't support the program and its head coach. Can't blame Gus for moving on.A solid program that couldn’t win games. What a shame, I wonder who could be to blame?
Not sure about that, but box head definitely got that Aaron Eckhart feel. He ain't "My All-American."Man, doesn't Scott Frost make that UCF Orlando gear look so much better than Malzahn did? With all of that goofy ass booming.
He never signed the financial papers with SMU and has not signed with their collective either. UCF wants him badly and upped his NIL offer.Signs online that Chasen Johnson might be coming back? How?? I thought he signed with SMU?

Stop embarrassing yourself. Malzone went 6-7 in 2023 and 4-8 in 2024…tucked tail and went to FSU as an OC.Whether you want to admit it, Gus built a solid program.

Yeah. You can have those POS Benedictine Military Academy "system" quarterbacks.Stop embarrassing yourself. Malzone went 6-7 in 2023 and 4-8 in 2024…tucked tail and went to FSU as an OC.
The first thing that happened upon getting to FSU is that their 5* 2024 QB went in the portal…immediately.
You are honestly so stupid. What do former QBs that played for a particular high school have to do with another QB that played at the same high school? Nothing that’s what. NOTHING.Yeah. You can have those POS Benedictine Military Academy "system" quarterbacks.
Auburn (Bryan Harsin) signed one that didn't amount to sh*t.

Jeris has insane connections at Tampa Catholic. Played there (my brother was one of his wrs) and then coached there. We should be able to definitely recruit out of there and Tampa in general due to his rapport alone.Man, doesn't Scott Frost make that UCF Orlando gear look so much better than Malzahn did?
