Our early success saw team fouling us like crazy. GW only had two. Penn didn't foul us. We have to be more aggressive. Force fouls.

After just 5 pts in first half...Tacko (7-10) lead UCF with 16 pts tonight...but too many of those were when GW built up a 20 plus lead in 2nd half.

Williams was only other player in double digits with 11...on just 4-15 shooting (3-8 from downtown).

Davis and Brown had 9 pts...while Banyard lead UCF with 4 assists (AJ had 3).

UCF was 5-15 from downtown...but GW was 12-40...hence, ball game. Plus, GW had a season low 6 turnovers.

There is no such thing...most refs in basketball (unlike in football) are pooled into 5-10 different conferences.

Heck...the infamous Ted Valentine was one of the 3 refs tonight.

I think the key to those games and to ALL of last year was the loss of BJ.

Taylor is the QB on the court...and without him...even with Dawkins on the bench..the offense is not the same.

I called this! GW was always a sure loss at their place and Penn and Miami a pick em. Of course, I was the only one right again. The win today required a performance of the year by Tacko, who for the second time in 3 games was forced to play 10 minutes more than expected (36 minutes today, longest ever) and sink almost all his shots and free throws. Check my predictions last week here.

We're just as I called it 4 weeks ago assuming we squeeze by B-CC on Wednesday. Be sure to come to cheer. Five games in a week and a half without a point guard is pretty damn good! Making the most of this, Tacko's last in College. But we got a good 6' 11" center with experience next year. Meanwhile, it's an NIT bid or better this year.
