UCF vs Illinois Wed NIT Home Game. Sales are LIVE NOW!

For once, have faith in your team. I am not a season ticket holder as my schedule doesn't afford me the ability to attend most games... but I bought tickets to bring my family as soon as they were available last night because I BELIEVE in this team and want my son to remember this special moment (as they have been few and far between as UCF fans)....You realize it's only a 10,000 seat arena, and bad attendance to a football game is like 20,000. Not hard to imagine half of those fans actually showing up to this game IMO, especially without competing for NCAA tourney games. I'll go back into hibernation now, and I hope the rest of us on this board can just enjoy the ride and be excited for once.
Who knew? It's "Homecoming" week, basketball style! In this over-hyped sports and event age, an honest, raw, flash mob convening in East Orlando. Will would-be scalpers opting to use the tix themselves? An overflow feed showing in the Union (even Woodstock organizers finally gave up and let people in free)? Will profs at evening classes switch split their screen (PowerPoint on one side, game on other)? Will this be our own SXSE (South By Southeast) festival? How cool is this!

You're an idiot. I'm a long time visitor to UCFSports.com, used to post occasionally, and usually agree with what you are saying, but your post is just stupid. For once, have faith in your team. I am not a season ticket holder as my schedule doesn't afford me the ability to attend most games. I do watch the crap out of them (as some probably do since almost every game is televised), but I bought tickets to bring my family as soon as they were available last night because I BELIEVE in this team and want my son to remember this special moment (as they have been few and far between as UCF fans).

Even Sad isn't trolling this thread yet, but you bring in this weak sauce argument?

I think it will be packed but honors has a point. UCF has a history of hiding available tickets for some reason. In this case, there is definitely good demand. We tend to show up for events like these. If they are withholding, the ticket count will spike at least once today IMO. Save you the hassle of adding; instead you can scroll...

The U.S. and Puerto Rico square off in the World Baseball Classic final game at 9 PM on ESPN2. People tuning in early will see the 2nd half of Illinois @UCF. Great national exposure for the UCF game to be in the slot right before the WBC final!

You're a brozen Knight (I'm a Diamond) with zero likes. I could keep going but I'll stop there.

I'm glad your value is place on likes on a message board. Everyone wins at something, right?

Yep, 4th place in Poster of Year on the National Board and 2nd for Troll of the year which combines to basically make me the best.

Also I'm a regular at practices. Have you even been to a practice?

there are adding mroe and more as they get bought but demand is high no question. the number goes up then comes down then goes up and so on and so forth. Will be a great crowd tonight.

Marc Daniels said on his show there is onluly a few hundred left. He expects it to be one of the highest attended games ever.

Here are the latest available on ticketmaster.

Honors, ahabnw has received his first like. Please stop trolling new ucf fans on the open board. You might chase them into the dungeon. I enjoy everyone's commentary and view points here on the open board (even if some are absurd).

I would love buy the hype and drink the kool aide too. But it's not even close to realistic. KL shows a screenshot with maybe 100 seat available 2 hours after our game. Really? A sellout in 2 hours? Really? We barely just found out who we would play. But we magically sold out.

I'm not buying it. I could imgine scalpels getting a bunch. But even that one is tough to believe.

Your negativity aside, if this game is not the highest attended UCF game EVER in CFE Arena, it will still be in the Top 3.

Adding and then selling adding then selling. Demand is off the charts right now. Wish they would just open all available seats and let people choose their seats more broadly but whatever. I guess they are just trying to portray very few seats left whenever anyone is on Ticketmaster prompting people to decide quicker maybe?

I'm a current student. Graduate this semester. Have been following every sport and attended 95% of the basketball and football games since arriving on campus (yes, I went to every game during the 0-12 football season). And I was also one of those sad 30 students who were at the game this past Wednesday. Not including the fiesta bowl, this is the most excited I've ever been over UCF athletics. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Oh, and more upper level tickets just opened up!

Love this spirit!

Looks like the added the rest of the lot. Went up to 564 available. As of now there are 497 available. I think this is the rest of them.

Tweets from UCF saying less than 400 remain and tweets from people about lines at the box office.[cheers]

How many did we have for the first game against Colorado? 3,800? Now since we're in quarterfinals 6,000 more people will show up? And yes i understand students are back on campus

Yes...that's what two wins (one on ESPN) in the tournment can do.

I think it was largely the media featuring us finally, the ESPN prime-time showings against no competition, the Mayor climbing on board the Knight train, and just the natural buzz. Extra space for students to sit and lots of free tickets for them is also a nice gesture for a group whose athletic fees have helped sustain us through bad times and probation.

Some of the fluctuation is from people reserving a seat but not paying before time lapses. Agree with demand high. They said 550 general tickets left when that count showed 550. Assuming they aren't using general loosely I think a sellout is

Ticket tracking has been fun but now it's time for the fans and team to show up! The numbers are promising. I think they are legit. We will see...

The 7000 is tickets sold to gen public guessing. 2700 is student. 140 is still for sale. as 140 goes down 7000 goes up.
