Sadly I fear we will be stuck with a rematch of Georgia and Alabama. That should never happen in the playoffs. If it does I hope their ratings tank.
I cant remember but was there a reason we ditched the "blacktop" before that? It was clean. The rollercoaster court was so tacky.

Ism not a big basketball fan in general . I grew up in Altamonte and UCF has never been a power NCAA program . There were the Torchy Clark days and Kirks Jerks but when you think college basketball you don't think UCF . I get it . with that said I watched the post Gane wrap up on ESPN and those guys could not stop about how Michigan should have done this or that .You could tell it was like piss and vinegar going down their throats about how UCF won.

how about just saying UCF is looking legit this year. I was at the Gasparilla Bowl so I didn't need to watch it on TV. cane home watched the game on the Plus and at the start of the Gane it was all Gators thus and that . Twice in a week UCF trans makes the ESPN crew look like fools. I love it. 😆

We finally saw the potential this team has. I feel like they’ve been playing like Star Wars droids with the restraining bolts attached. Hopefully as the season moves on they continue to trust their skill sets and each other, and continue to grow as a team.

Most "experts" had us playing Virginia in the Military and obviously that never happened.

I agree they’re way sillier than preseason top 25 rankings - and that’s saying something.
The exact matchup and Region will vary but as of now he would have us as an 11 seed. Which is better than where we were 7 weeks ago.
I’m kind of excited we have control of our own destiny. Finish top 3 in conference get in. Finish 4th you need help to get in. Each win in basketball builds a resume. Resume is how you get in.

At this time, before most conference games have even occured, it's a tad bit premature to start predicting seedings. It's just retarded.
Yes, we're at a pretty good spot NOW, but to which seed and who (if any) we're going to face, be it Maryland, UCSB, Texas or Troy State, is pure folly.
I don't know if UCF ever had a better second half performance. Incredible shooting and defense.
It’s not necessarily pointless. We are forecasted as an 11 seed because our NET is in the low 40s. Having a NET in the low 40s entering conference play is good and necessary to be in the discussion for an at large bid. Not pointless.
This…. Although the first 5 minutes or so of the 2nd half was dismal and we fell behind by at least 11 or 12 points. I turned to my buddy and said “It’s time for Green and Mahan to get hot”. I’ll be damned if they both didn’t shoot the lights out the rest of the way. Just incredible performances.
And yes, the team’s defense was stellar and they stopped all the careless turnovers. The best 15 minutes of UCF basketball I’ve ever witnessed. Keep it up, boys! GKCO.
