UCF is ranked third nationally in rushing offense and fourth in total offense. UCF rushing defense is ranked 121 of 130. Fortunately, OU is a great rushing team.

Oklahoma is a pass heavy offense, unsurprisingly. 4th in Passing yards, 55th in rushing. Still imagine they will just run the ball most of the game. If it gets out of hand early, Gabriel won't even see the 2nd half which has already happened this season. Unlike Plumlee who was still on the field in the 4th quarter against Kent State.

Kansas is 3rd in the conference for rushing, but if you remove the UCF game, they are 7th.

"seeks revenge". Revenge from what? He left us, not the other way around.
Malzahn almost ended his career. UCF fans have been insulting and trolling him on social media since he left.
You don’t think he’s looking forward to flexing on all of you and on Malhazan? Just say that you have never played a sport in your entire life and move it along.

Oklahoma fans are mocking UCF over in their 247 board. They believe that Malzahn is old, washed up…an “old, rich fat cat” they are calling him. Zero UCF fans over there defending Malzahn. AL1 needs to get a paid account and simp for Gus in their forum.

As usual, our little group will dominate the watch party and be a complete success. Undefeated at tailgating/watch parties.

I would take the over. Wish we hired Jeff Lebby like most of the fanbase wanted them too at the time.

How are we suppose to defend him? We lost to ECU, NAVY, Tulane, (almost USF), Duke, Baylor, K. State, and Kansas in less than a year. Gotta prove people wrong.

I would think Lebby is more likely to have a grudge if he was passed over on the job.

That being said Lebby and Gabriel are both in the middle of a season that can change their lives, and just got over one of the most important hurdles. All they need to do is win and move on to the next game. Beating UCF by 50 or 5 will have no impact on them achieving season goals.

Beating UCF by 5 is how Alabama jumps you into the playoff with two losses.
Undefeated Oklahoma gets in every time. Aside from Texas beating Alabama, Oklahoma is SEC now, so they will get treated as such.

In my opinion, you guys are making stuff up on this 'revenge' thing. But, whatever works for your conspiracy mind go with it.

I hope Oklahoma never has to play UCLA. He probably has revenge for the Bruins since he committed to them first.

It was a great opportunity for DG to transfer to Oklahoma. He is doing great there. Probably piling on tons of NIL money and playing Heisman caliber football so far. It helps to have superior athletes around you.

Malzhan wanted DG to come back and play. But, he decided to leave UCF not the other way around.

There is no revenge in this game other than us fans want to win this game. And, for the record, I played High School Basketball and Football. Played Ultimate and was on the surf team for UCF and recreational from 1985 thru ten years ago (knees won't allow me to play ultimate anymore). What that has to do with my opinion is oddly strange and has no bearing on calling you guys out on 'DG wants revenge' thing.

Typically when someone leaves a team the revenge is from the team wanting revenge, not the player. But, you guys have some strange obsessive vendetta against UCF. I'm sticking with my opinion and not yours.

Both DG and UCF want to win this game. Oklahoma is obviously favored to win this game and I think they will. The Texas game was the first game I watched Okahoma play this year and they really good team.

Just think if DG sticked with UCF, he would still be playing in this game. However, with less NIL money and less hype.

The only way UCF has a chance to cover is if Oklahoma has at least 4 turnovers

The problem is before even when the UCF D wasn’t great they would force timely turnovers . Now under Gus for whatever reason we never force turnovers.

Why even play this game? ESPN predictor has Oklahoma at 94.1 percent winning.

With 37 seconds left in the 3rd quarter vs. Baylor. According to espn, UCF had a 99.9% chance of winning.

I believe this follows Malzahn's tradition of unbelievable endings.

They will need to win big to make the playoffs if they remain undefeated. Lebby and DG will run it up, no question. They rightfully should too given Gus is an assbag know it all that can't coach worth a shit

Lebby hasn’t got a Head Coaching Job for a reason

the rumor was UCF BOT wouldn’t approve and I am sure that is the case at other Programs as well. Some of you forgot the reason he was in exile in Polk County till Heupel gave him an opportunity.

Somehow it’s going down. If it dips to 15 I’m taking OU.
When they announced Plumlee was playing against Kansas the money went to UCF and moved the spread. It seems like so many around the country buy in heavily on the Malzahn/Plumlee combo.

Oklahoma certainly could have a let down game, Texas was their big game. That being said, its far more likely that even if Plumlee plays a full game, we will see the limited mobile Plumlee that had more turnovers than TDs in his last 7 games of 2022.

from espn:

Oklahoma 6-0 (vs. UCF)

The Sooners rank second in FPI, just behind Ohio State, but have the highest probability of winning out of any undefeated team at 41.1%. Their remaining schedule ranks 45th in strength as the rest of the league, with the exception of Texas, has had wildly unpredictable results.

But OU's Dillon Gabriel has been unflappable, leading a Sooners offense that is averaging 45.2 points per game (fourth-best nationally), while Danny Stutsman headlines a defense allowing just 14 ppg, seventh best. Now that the annual pressure cooker against Texas is over, with Gabriel delivering a legendary comeback drive with no timeouts, going 75 yards in just over a minute for a 34-30 win, OU can think bigger.

"Our mindset is that we've already put all the pressure on ourselves," Oklahoma defensive end Ethan Downs told reporters on Monday. "We have high expectations, and we have goals. The goals are still the same as they were before the hype and after. We appreciate all the recognition, but our goals exceed far beyond that. What happens in the building and what happens in every practice is what we're focused on. It hasn't changed."

The biggest remaining challengers for the Sooners include a trip to Stillwater on Nov. 4 in front of an emotional Oklahoma State crowd for what will be the last Bedlam rivalry game before the Sooners depart for the SEC, facing a Cowboys program that has surged back to life following a 33-7 loss at home to South Alabama and another at Iowa State.

After UCF, the Sooners will travel to Kansas to face a Jayhawks squad that can score on anyone. They'll finish the season with a home game against TCU, which also appeared to find its footing with a new quarterback last weekend. In between, the Sooners will play a gritty West Virginia team and endure a trip to Provo for BYU's only conference battle with them. All are winnable, but the Big 12 never seems to follow the script. But as it stands now, FPI projects the Sooners have a 70.1% chance to make the College Football Playoff and a 39.9% chance to make the title game, both best in the country. -- Dave Wilson

they are probably also thinking no other Program has a better scouting report of DG since he was at UCF 3 years where we have so much film and in person coaches view of him on the practice field

But I still don’t see it …after that Kansas first half who isn’t nearly as talented .
