Hard to argue against the fact that UCF softball is the best program in the school right now (and Ball-Malone is the top coach in the department). On their way to at least one win in three straight NCAA regionals.

New here? Softball is double-elimination, so even if UCF loses today against FSU, their season isn’t over. They would still have a shot at USC/Marist again, and possibly another FSU matchup.

Yeah, the schedule was brutal to begin the year. Played some really good teams while UCF was still trying to figure out their pitching (after what they lost last year).

Still beat Ohio State, Michigan, Mississippi St., Louisville, Purdue, Rutgers, Arizona State, South Carolina this season. Beat ten P5 teams last season.

Didn’t win regular season AAC title. Schedule was tough. Good scheduling to see how good team is. Not a top 25 team though. How is 40 wins poor? The same or more than 14 of the top 25. Just most of the wins were to teams not in tourney.

FSU didn't hit the ball out of the infield and got 2 runs on bad decision by SS and error by 1B. Hate to see the team beat itself but we just dug a hole with a poor decision and a miscue....

They’re facing an All-American who went 23-3 with a 1.16 ERA this season & .176 BAA. I would hold off on the sweeping generalizations about UCF’s offense off one game (they have more hits than FSU in this game). The defense has been the problem.

Like I said, top 10 teams. Last year Oklahomas pitchers weren’t giving them runs. Top 10 teams have an ace and sometimes 2 of them.

People think Volleyball and Softball are great. We play in a terrible conference. Next year both will struggle. Football will do better than both.
