Ok they got whooped by USC. Now what? 1-2 in regional. Next year when we play good teams in conference won’t equal 40 wins.

You wrote them off before they even played a game man. You feel good about yourself?

They proved they could beat or compete with good teams, things just didn’t work out their way this weekend. They outplayed FSU earlier but fielding errors were the deciding factor today. Could have easily been a different outcome without the errors.

I see writing on wall. They played almost 60 games. Didn’t write them off before they played 1. They lost to most of the good teams they played. If they won 50 games they would be good and hosted and probably top 12. They aren’t there yet. If it was 1 game against 3rd ranked team in nation they had a chance. It’s not. Last years team was actually better and probably wins this regional.

I was saying this watching live. She walked 6 feet in front of mound to receive ball. Then walked around back circle of mound. Stood there. Then got on mound looking for pitch sign for 10 seconds. Her windup takes 8 seconds. This is after every single pitch. 7 innings should not approach 3.5 hours. Terrible strategy. She was easily frazzled with this much time to think. You could see on her face. Stand on mound and get in a rhythm.

That seems to be her routine and if she's allowed to do it, she should. She did a good job against FSU....just needed the team to play better defense. These losses were not on her.

LMFAO. She dominated South Carolina and had us in position against the #3 team and defense failed her.

Her face was in horror when blue awarded the batter the walk. Ball-Malone had to call timeout to talk to her because she was frazzled. Game was too long. Most people didn’t watch anyway. Including people commenting on here. People saying 40 wins is poor and then wanting any other opinion to hold water. It’s comical.

Lmfao. Nobody said 40 wins was poor. The OOC record was poor in comparison to prior years. Because we scheduled up. We lost a couple games. We pitched Willis back to back to try to go for the jugular. If you are going to split it’s better to come out of the losers bracket and advance in a game against Marist rather than the #3 team in the country. So in that sense South Carolina had the better path. As you said after UCF lost to FSU that was basically case closed as we weren’t going to string together 3 more wins (2 over FSU). Defense failed, we lost, it happens.
