Translates to a versatile defender who can play throughout front-seven, though most at home as pass-rusher. Great anticipation, first step off ball with long stride to cover ground in a hurry. Good short-area explosion and can finish with power. Wants to win with speed off edge while long arms and above-average hands make up for lack of size against linemen. Not a redirector in space or built for coverage on routine. Smart player with fiery personality. Will have to work to add mass to become three-down edge player. Could make early situational impact on third downs before developing into hybrid edge linebacker and projects as a middle-round NFL Draft pick.
