I'm ready to start donating to the much-needed NIL fund.

Does anyone truly understand the system? How much $$$ we currently have, is it separate from the GKC, who chairs this department? etc, etc.

I just don't want to donate to the GKC to fund other projects like that damn lazy river, I want my $$$ to go towards funding DT John Walker. You dig?

As much as I love college football, UCF, and all our programs, it's this ish that will cause me to find something else to do with my GKC donation. Don't get me wrong, I loved playing ball when I was younger and appreciated the free gear I was given but that's where I draw the line. What we have now is more screwed up than NFL free agency.

a lazy river offends me more than paying players. i was always disgusted by these college facilities superior to nfl facilities because they didn't have anything else better to do with the money. fans bragging on the internet about facilities is just stupid to me. i want to brag about players that produce for my school and then it make it to the league where they can make even more money.

Athletic Departments are losing money because of this NIL. Our facilities will never get better. Especially the Olympic Sports. Its killing ADs nationally.

posted before that I think the Lazy River is not an efficient use of facility funds and seems more interested in a pic to go viral. It would get most of its use during Fall Camp where there is a thunderstorm everyday. would be smarter to build an expanded cool whirlpool indoors

also how are we supposed to be motivated giving nil money to a fund when some of these players will take it then transfer in 12 months?

Supposedly the deluxe facilities will attract top recruits. However now NIL will probably have a bigger effect on where players sign..imo. "Show me the money" is now the name of the game. I think any minor league players that didn't make it to the pros should be able to go back to college and play their sport if they still have eligibility. After all the word "pros" was defined by "pay for play".
