All thanks to utter incompetence by our leaders in January. If we would have taken the ROK approach and tested people with selective quarantining this would have never have happened (they are only seeing a ~33% unemployment increase and far, far fewer deaths).

It appears that we will have a rolling crisis region by region. I don't know if we are going to be able to get the whole country open this year. My eye is on sporting events, once those can happen again, we can get back to work. Unfortunately, I don't think that is happening until next spring.

Yeah, I fully expect the NBA finals to be lost, probably MLB (there is no way in hell any games are being played in NYC this year), and most of football in some way. I am betting the nfl salvages something but it wouldn’t surprise me if most, if not all of college football is gone.
