Unifying the cooler: gun question (rec. needed)

I am strictly a range guy. Too scared to shoot Bambi or Thumper but I have done my Hunter Safety Course if I ever need to get a license. I have a CWP but I don’t carry very often. I mainly got it so I didn’t have to wait when purchasing a firearm. Small collection, nothing too fancy:

Springfield M1 Garand (National Match front and rear sights)
Soviet-capture Mauser 98k (with swastikas stamped-out)
S&W M&P Sport II AR-15 (no upgrades, just stock)

Springfield GI .45 ACP
S&W M&P Shield 9mm
S&W .40 (not sure of the model, was given the gun by a buddy who owed me money he couldn’t repay)
Beretta 92D 9mm
Taurus 9mm (carry gun with Clipdraw)
Bersa Thunder .380 (x2, both carry guns with Clipdraws)
Taurus .357 revolver

Oooooh! I was looking at the Springfield M1 Garands the other day. Those are just kick ass rifles and I'd love to have one but damn their expensive.

My son has a Mauser .45 from 1956 that my father gave to him. It has to be the most reliable and accurate pistol I've ever shot. We've cycled hundreds of rounds through it and it has never, ever had a failure to feed, misfeed or misfire. It's just one of the most solid pistols ever. I think Sig bought the patent on that design.

With the obvious exception of those first two, your taste in guns is almost as bad as your taste in college football teams. Especially the all the clip draw's, are trying to shoot your dick off?

Or maybe he needs a new asshole. Yeah, I prefer a holster that covers the trigger, especially since I keep one in the chamber and neither my XD9 nor S&W Bodyguard have a safety.

Have I mentioned how much I hate my Bodyguard. It has the most horrendous trigger pull ever. Trying to stay on target with it until it fires is next to impossible.

I'm sure going to EDC seems like a giant waste of money to most of us.

Hence me saying "to me" and shrug. EDC is an experience, like traveling or going to a restaurant - I don't think you going to see whatever artist you like is a waste of money, just different tastes.

I was honestly curious to see if people on here actually used their guns or bought them just to have them.

If you're actually using them, alright, I get it, if you're not, I guess I don't get the point in having them. I guess I just don't get the point in having many - unless you hunt, etc.

They truly are a good investment when you buy quality. especially a lot of the older stuff, Browning products made in belgium back in the day for example. Their value has appreciated amongst Browning fans like crazy since they stopped manufacturing them there. You could turn a huge profit on one of them had you held on to it right now

you are missing out if you haven't been to 1 major music festival but that's just my take. I don't really consider EDC Orlando in that category but it's mainly just convenience for UCF/Orlando people. The top music festivals are in settings that make the experience even more so than the music being played.

No doubt about it. They are an incredible experience

They are when it's the right type of music. I'm going to Tortuga this year so I have no problem with festivals. Just pointing out that everyone has different hobbies.

I've gone to music festivals in the past but I'm not really into them or even music anymore. I'd much rather relax, drink a couple beers and go do target practice with friends or family.

I own 5 guitars. I play just two of them most of the time. It doesn’t diminish how awesome the other 3 are.

Same thing

Why do you need a scope for your AR? All you'll ever use it for is to spray random strangers. Amirite libs?

Scopes add a full half-inch to your penis size!!! Shotguns add a full inch!! It is amazing!! Even better than those adds in the back of Penthouse!

You should get one of each. With what you have poking out of your crotch now, plus the additional length from the scope and shotgun, you'd have full 1.75 inches to play with everyday.

Oooooohhhhhh, this thread.

I'm perfectly content with my little button. No sports cars. No big trucks. No guns. Not even a single item of camoflage clothing.

Nope. I don't find joy in killing animals. Totally small penis.
You know there is such thing as catch and release.

I'm not saying I'm a man's man or anything, but I do like a lot of stereotypical guy activities. I know you enjoy sports but other than that, do you enjoy any other stereotypical man stuff?

Chemmie is that neighbor who always borrows your tools, yard equipment, your truck and anything else he deems too unimportant to buy.

"You're a racist redneck macho man with a small dick but can I borrow your truck to get some stuff from Home Depot?"

I despise big pick ups. Always sticking out of the damn parking spots in garages. I hate Escalades and Yukons more though.
