This is worthy of a new thread instead of being buried in the CFB Transfer Portal Thread.

Linebacker is probably UCF's biggest need. Georgia LB Rian Davis is currently on campus. Kudos to @UCFan08 to spotting him earlier today:

Lol I actually saw him in the field house today and figured he had to be an ex UCF player in the NFL that I just didn't recognize. Did not look like the other UCF players I was with. But it all makes sense now that Addison and Sims were with him.

I have confirmed that he's here.

UGA insiders expected Davis - who attended Apopka-Wekiva - to go to UCF. So it was probably a matter of time until he got on campus for a visit.

Injury issues impacted him early in his UGA career, though he did make the LB rotation this past season. He started twice and played in 14 games. Davis finished with 15 tackles and five QB pressures.

Looking at his PFF grades, he finished with a 56.3 season grade with 188 total snaps. He was playing more at the beginning of the season:

Oregon - 22 snaps, 65.2 grade
Samford - 11 snaps, 71.8 grade
South Carolina - 16 snaps, 47.6 grade
Auburn - 47 snaps, 59.4 grade*
Vanderbilt - 22 snaps, 66.9 grade*
Florida - 9 snaps, 28.9 grade
Tennessee - 9 snaps, 54.8 grade
Mississippi State - 11 snaps, 51.0 grade
Kentucky - 4 snaps, 64.6 grade
Georgia Tech - 13 snaps, 73.3 grade
LSU CCG - 8 snaps, 47.0 grade
Ohio State CFP - 6 snaps, 47.8
TCU NCG - 10 snaps, 64.4 grade

Auburn and Vandy games were starts for him.
