US Media Jumps the Cuomo v. DeSantis Shark With 60 Minutes

I think that goes both ways also - I think many on the right over-estimate Trump's appeal to voters. I honestly don't believe there is a single D he beats in 2016 EXCEPT Hillary. In 2020 he had all the inherent advantages of incumbency and dramatically underperformed his 2016 numbers.

Your point on him winning easily in 2020 if he was a decent human being is true though. Incumbents have a HUGE advantage and COVID should have been the existential threat rallied people around a POTUS who could lead. The fact that he lost in spite of that shows the limit of his appeal.
It's still 71 million any way you slice it, but you are probably correct about 2016.

I guess my point is that these people aren't going anywhere and if anything, they're just going to be even more pissed off come 2024 if the stupid dems persist with their cultural/woke/cancel wars that obviously always work so well for them.

None of it may matter if HR-1 passes completely and doesn’t get overturned in the DC circuit.

Actually, whether or not they show up without Trump on the ticket is a legitimate question. They did not show up in the 2018 mid terms, and the "rigged election" mantra certainly presents some risk when it comes to getting people to show up

no one will care about that if the economy is in good shape in 2024 , at least the margins that decide general elections(Trump base will always be aggrieved about something but they are not large enough) . And Biden doesn’t cause the other side resentment that other Dems in the past have. He’ll run for a 2nd term if the economy is booming

And he'll be running as an 82-year old. Not exactly an unbeatable foe...

The 'Russian interference' laid the groundwork in 2016.
The 'Russiagate' non-sense is getting old too.

It's amazing how 'misinformation' is based on the political viewpoint.
