Taggart would have had a top 25 class as UCF's HC after 2013...UCF just finally got a HC that is young and can relate to the players, that's half the battle with our superior campus
Exactly. And they quickly forget that this was the first year they have had a winning record in a while and the cherry on top for them is a bowl game with western Kentucky.
What they don't realize is that we had Horrible coaching and that is about to change. We had a decent class in 2014. This won't take long to turn around.
They are soiling their short pants now that UCF is doing some real work on the recruiting trail.

In reality ... a strong UCF and USF bode well not only for the future of the AAC, but any new alignment. I'm looking forward to the rivalry exploding as we're both strong and regular contenders in the East Division of the AAC, possibly the next conference as well.
I love how one of the cows called us "Disney". Do they really not understand geography!?!?!? Not only are they West Central Florida but they are literally located less than a mile or two from Busch Gardens..... so does that make them the Busch school? Or how about Busch League?

Yes, unfortunately most of the AAC bowls are newly-created insignificant endeavors, and I mixed-up my newly-created insignificant bowls in South Florida. If the AAC can establish a foothold as the "premier G5 league" (as it was this year), hopefully our champion can "plan" on a NY6 Bowl like Houston got this year. No one is confusing the Miami Beach Bowl or the Boca Raton Bowl with a NY6 Bowl.

Enjoy your time in Miami, it should be a blast. Fact of the matter is, nobody gives a shit about a pre-Christmas bowl game at 2:30pm on a Monday. And it wouldn't be any different if UCF was playing in this game. I hope we can turn it around quickly and we're playing eachother for a spot in the title game for years to come. How does the Google Trends Trophy compare to the East Carolina Virtual Bowl Trophy? I assume neither one takes up a lot of space in the Trophy case
So tired of the "we need a strong usf" crap. With Temple, Cincy, ecu, improving UCONN and hopefully us, no one needs a strong usf. Every conference has a crap team or two, it would be wonderful that the AAC's is usf.
I'd like both schools to do well, so the rivalry games matter and attract national attention. In terms of talking sh*t, we would be doing the same if usf went 0-12 and we were bowling no matter where it was. We can't win every year, so let's not get too bent out of shape when we lose.

Long-term rivalries are what keep the fanbases huge. Sorry, but that's going to be the primary driver as our alumni bases continue to explode over the next 25 years.
And I'll give Tag some credit. It took several years, but he's righting the ship out there. Grades are way, way up from the Beaker years. Yes, I think the Cow fans can be pathetic. But this is not a year we can exactly counter well against them.
We'll see if they just has a UCF 2012-like season, or if they sputter next year and don't build upon their first, positive season in so long.

Three good recruits doesn't make a season...but it makes a pretty damn good week! In fact, the three recruits only took four days from the time Frost really started focusing on recruiting. And considering that two of the three are among the fastest players in Florida, with offers from the Cows (not to mention well known P5 teams) bodes well.
Recruits all over the state are already blowing up twitter with how much they want to play in UCF's new, Oregon style offense!
You don't get it. We have won so so much and you have won so little. The high point for our program over the last ten years is pretty high. What do you have as a program to brag about. I am actually happy to have a strong UCF and USF. I just think their existence is hilarious. For years they have sucked and jealousy watching our program flourish. That has caused them to be unrealistic and yet again big headed. It's funny to watch them act like they are some huge BCS busters. People will have tape on their offense next year and they lose a lot of depth. They have recruited well, but losing that many seniors can be hard to deal with, especially if they sustain injuries. I just think the majority of their fan base are twits. There are a few decent ones ,but they have always acted like a teenage 15 year old program .

Being in a BCS conference had a lot to do with that "success."
And that's what's the worst about USF fans.
You are not merely just "self-entitled."
It's that when you get your "entitlement" before you deserve it ... and you still squander it!

I always find it so interesting that the few fans USF has continually troll our board. I have been to the Bulls' board a grand total of ZERO times! Guess we have a lot more relevance to them than they do to me.
Its funny that USF goes years without a winning record and you don't hear from their fans on this board. Then they have one decent Beef Bowl quality season where they beat one good team all year at home and they are over here acting like world beaters. At your best you've owned us? In 2007 you did own us, but lets be real here your other 4 wins were against some of the worst UCF teams in program history and many you eeked out.
2005 you beat a team on a 16 game losing streak 31-17.
2006 you beat a 4-8 team 24-17
2008 you beat a 4-8 team 31-24 in OT (you were ranked #17)
2015 you beat a 0-12 team
So I guess the same could be said that at our best we have owned you with our 2 AAC championship teams when you were struggling. Still waiting on a game when both teams are playing well.
