IMHO, For the Tampa TV market and fan market, I thing the Big 12 would take USF if they had a stadium (of certain size, lighting, etc). The UCF USF rivalry was huge!

Why should they be in a P4 conference with an empty trophy case? They have NEVER done anything competitive in football.....they are great at moaning like whores and bitching about them being too good for a conference they can't even win.

USF is UCF’s natural rival. You people literally do not have a sports rival at the moment. Comical.

USF has trophies in their trophy case, their WBB team has 3 conference championships and their MBB team has 1 conference championship. Their best bet would be to re-join the Big East.

UCF got the Big 12 invite and to be honest we haven’t capitalized yet but compare that with USF ..they are invisible on ESPN+ losing to Rice and winning a shootout w San Jose State for their one winning record team win in years.

They are a couple dominoes away to permanent minor league status, don’t help them dig out of it.

Can't like this post enough, playing them elevates them as we are now the vastly superior program. We need to keep strong in recruiting the Tampa area and recruiting is a zero sum game.

UCF probably has the Tampa TV market. You don't need the local team nobody watches. This is probably reality. Tampa watches the gators, FSU, and whatever Name team UCF is playing because they just watch name brands. The 1 time Tampa actually watches a Sat game played in the Bucs stadium is when Alabama is in town.... because it's a Name Brand. usf goes to the Pac and they'll have the same amount watching them, because the only thing remotely close to being a name team is Or. St and Wa. St. and how interested is Florida in them?

I'm sure we are #4 in that market, like every other major market in Florida (maybe Orlando is an exception, maybe not). So that puts usif as #5 in their own market, similar to Rice in the Houston market.
