V.D.

Taking my wife out Friday night since I can't stand crowds at restaurants and hate prix fixe menus even more.

Not what I thought this thread was going to be about.
I understand your name, VenDsit. It's one of those rebus puzzles. You got various VDs because you were all up "en it". Or "it" was all up "en" VDs. I can't tell which is the right answer. You threw me off with the spanglish.

I thought this was going to be a discussion about Voo Doo Donuts and Denver/Portland....
I mean, we can change to that- So the donuts are delicious but I've found they tend to be heavy. Like it was hard to get through an entire donut with all that sugar. That being said the flavors I tried were awesome and they have a great selection for vegans. Plus, if you go to a location that is NOT the original one in Portland you can actually get in without much of a wait.

Voodoo is widely over rated, but I will give credit where credit is due, the anti-marketing marketing by the hipsters who own the joint has been effective.

Oh it's absolutely just riding on the brand history- so many places are doing "crazy" flavors in baked goods now so if not for the brand, they wouldn't be anywhere close to as popular as they still are.
