UCF Sports Officials and Fans will hopefully find out if our $176.6 million dollar request will be approved by the Orange County Commissioners. The August 22, 2023 meeting in the downtown Orange County Commission building is scheduled to start around 9:00 AM.
In the last few days I have been in contact (emails to follow) with an Orange County Administrator, who in this long process of Task Force meetings, helped me obtain important meeting dates, times, and updates.
It’s interesting to note she has indicated the meeting Tuesday will start at 9:00, however due to other Board agenda requirements the discussion of the Resort Tax by the Board might not start until around 10:30 AM.
