Wal Mart trying to creep in on Amazon

Not a bad idea but I have no desire to have a Wal Mart employee know where I live.

Walmart’s newest tactic in its fight against online giant Amazon: enlisting its employees to deliver online orders on their way home from work.

The idea, Walmart executives said Thursday, is to cut costs on the so-called last-mile of deliveries, when packages are driven to customers’ homes, often the most expensive part of the fulfillment process.

Walmart's move this past winter to offer free 2 day shipping on all orders over $35 without any $99 membership (like Amazon) made Amazon to finally change their free 2 day shipping for non-members which use to be for $49 or more down to $35 as well.
