Politics are showing up in COVID rates in a new way. The political leanings of the county where a person lives may indicate their risk of dying from COVID-19. A new analysis found that conservative counties had nearly three times the death rates of more liberal ones. Other polls suggest that vaccination rates among Republicans are

Imagine dying to own the libs hahaha. Sad at the present moment, but at least this will be good for the country long term, we are witnessing natural selection in action.

TL;DR: MAGATs are dropping faster than @Boston.Knight 's portfolio. Buy gold.

I don’t think it has to do with being conservative much as it does with being a moron. Here’s a handy little chart for reference.

Pink circle should be a little larger, and should be another data set labeled "traitors to the union" but yeah for the most part this is correct.

Aaaaaand here's the perfect analogy to just how goddamn stupid today's GOP has become:

Man tried to open door in flight to share his views on vaccines.

When asked why he attempted to open the emergency door in-flight, the Portland resident told police he hoped passengers onboard would start filming him so he had “the opportunity to share his thoughts on covid-19 vaccines,” according to an affidavit from FBI agent Adam T. Hoover. In a passenger video obtained by the Register-Guard, Demarre is seen yelling, “We’re all being lied to,” and muttering about coronavirus vaccines as he is taken off the plane by authorities.

🤣😂🤣 Goddamn morons. @Boston.Knight please try this, people need to hear your views on the vaccine 🤣😂

I heard a quote the other day. Democrats are the party of cheaters and liars and Republicans are just stupid.

This might have been correct prior to trump taking over the GOP, but now Republicans can lay claim to both.

I disagree. Hate orange man all you want. I don't care. I will agree the guy has a huuuuuge ego,it's the biggest prettiest ego you ever saw. The best ego ever .
Durham is taking his time and hopefully he doesn't commit suicide or has car troubles where his car explodes ,but I think he will ferret out corruption. Y'all laughed when Trump suggested he was being electronically spied on and sure enough the Clinton campaign was tracking his DNS actions looking for the best porn sites and stuff. They did it even after he was president. The Clintons are just dirt bags.

Of course the Clintons are crooks. But trump is a literal sociopath that told 30,000+ confirmed lies in office, starting with the very first minutes of his inauguration. I mean the guy tried to sharpie away a goddamn hurricane for Christa sake. He doesn't live in the same reality as everyone else, neither do his cult members.

You aren't going to get much of an argument about me regarding Trump. Trump was a disruptor and the elites didn't like some bombastic outsider crash their party . So, they did everything to destroy him. That's the truth. However, what so many fail to see is this. Love him or hate him, Trump stood up to the system and for once he fought for half the country who feel and rightfully so neglected by the system. He stood up to Pelosi and so forth forth and just didn't give crap about the press did or Pelosi .

I think guys like McConnell spend too much time trying be liked and they get along to be somebody in the sand box with the cool kids . Look, I am an independent conservative/libertarian ( Thomas Jefferson/James Madison ) thinking kind of guy. The Republicans just suck. They have no spine and don't fight , they don't fight for their principles or the Constitution or yours and my liberty.

For all Trump's flaws and there are many, he stood up and fought . It's the singular thing I did appreciate about him. He went toe to toe with the Democrats and they genuinely fear him because he does that . We need more liberty minded politicians to stand and fight like Trump did .

Did these NPR self-ordained statisticians publish that data for others to assess?

...one thing I've learned mining data for a living is that the "information" extracted from a data set can be cherry picked to skew perspectives.

For example, selecting heavy Republican counties in higher retirement age (aka elderly) areas of the state/country to tilt the "death rate" comparison.

...and with sources like Fox, Newsmax, CNN, MSNBC, NPR and the like, you're guaranteed to receive a doctored view of data... Never mind the fact that data collection and interpretation adheres to the universal law of "garbage in, garbage out". If collection is skewed (i.e. bundling Bob Sagat's head trauma death in the Covid death count), then extraction and interpretation is inherently flawed.
