"We got alot better" Words from Coach Frost

Frost always taking shots at Gus. Saying they were worked harder than they ever have. The culture was terrible. S&C was bad and the reason there was soft tissue injuries early on. Thank God Gus is gone. He has no business being a HC. At most an OC.

I am hearing that there was a pressure campaign on Gus and a saving face by Gus that led to him to go to FSU. I don’t think the administration gets enough credit for that.
They did a good job getting out of that contract.

Frost said similar things about Mike Riley, the previous coach at Nebraska before he took over. Not the best look in the world for a new HC--but he spoke the truth. Frost inherited a clusterfcuk in Lincoln.

Honestly, I expected A LOT better from Malzahn. But from the look of things, Scott has found the same crappy situation all over again returning to Orlando. Frankly, it's mindboggling to see how quickly this once-great program has fallen off since Heupel left and Malzahn took over.

I'd feel a lot better about Frost's Rebuild Season #1 if he had a QB. But we'll see how it goes.

It's all coachspeak. I wouldn't look too much into it.

If KJ Jefferson was as good as advertised, Gus would still be our coach. The wheels came off with that. The 2nd and 3rd string Qbs were not ready and NGE. That's on Gus for not recognizing that sooner. I've said this before, and it is only speculative on my part, Gus was a yell-at-you-guy if you make a mistake coach. Saw him many times during games cursing at players after a bad play on the sideline, vs, Scott Frost who is more of a positive reinforcement type coach. I could be wrong. And the proof is in the pudding is TBD.

Will FSU improve? Will UCF improve? Tune in this season for the next edition as The College Football World turns. :p

In Frost I trust. I'm excited about seeing his offense again.

Correct.

Had UCF landed Tyler Slough instead of KJ, the Knights might had made the BIG-12 title game. Who knew he would be a 3,000-yatd passer in his final season?

I am literally trying to help you fans. You guys don’t ask any tough questions of your AD, writers or “boosters”.

What do you think it’s going to happen Willie? Burying your face in the sand and hoping for the best?
Such a stupid ****tard....if you want to really help UCF fans you would spent all your non-fast food worker time on miami boards

Yeah, he treated this job like a retirement gig....so glad that ass is gone

Malzahn left the program in rough shape. I could be wrong but I don't think Gus left Frost nearly as much talent as O'Leary did.

But if there is a silver lining, it appears that Frost and his coaches have re-galvanized the team during winter conditioning and spring ball. While no one can predict the final scores next fall, I believe the Knights will play harder than they did last season.

I have read some stupid stuff on this board, but I have to comment on this trash.

Do you really expect current players to throw the current staff under the bus? H*ll no! What do you think they are going to say?

"D"mn, this Frost guy sucks. I wish Gus was back."

I don't think that would go over well.

Aside from that...

Hope springs eternal in the spring and fall camp. Every team is defeated.

I have NEVER read an article where a player said, "This team sucks @$$. We're not going to win sh*t. Frost hasn't had a winning season since 2017. Most of us were in middle school back then."

notice how much of UCF twitter engagement has disappeared…I don’t think it is only the State of the Program, some fans have left that platform. previous years posts like that would get 10+ replies
It is low expectations. UCF no longer has a legitimate head football coach and staff. It shows.

unfortunately he left a clusterfcuk in Lincoln as well.

If your definition of the term is a losing record, I won't disagree with you.

Fortunately, the situation in Lincoln has been turned around by Matt Rhule. Nebraska is a dark horse candidate for making the CFP this season.

It's because of weirdos like our obsessed, resident troll. It's mostly whores, trolls, and racists. It's a strange place but it's where people like him belong.
