It really is that simple. Their defensive line was blowing up our offensive line all game. They're a big veteran defense that had NFL caliber DEs and it showed.

That's not to say other mistakes weren't made. Milton made freshman mistakes. He gets a little trigger happy but who can blame him with some of the hits he took. I have no doubt this will be fixed with time and experience. But he also showed why he is dynamic. As he starts to pull the ball more you can expect more huge QB runs. And that touch pass TD to Killins was a thing of beauty.

I'm more frustrated with our young RBs. Too often they were trying to do too much. A lot of side to side running and cutbacks trying to make huge plays when they just need to get going north south. But this too will be fixed with time and experience.

Our offense is young. It will be dynamic but frustrating at times. Learn to deal with that with out calling an 18 year old kid "trash."

I thought Hamilton was going to have a big day after he popped that one big run. D Wilson had a quiet night. Killins seemed to wait a little too long for the blocks when ever he got carries on the edge. Hamilton or Wilson having success up the middle sets up Killins on the edge, it just wasn't happening vs that Temple D

Milton has made significant progress since his first start. What was it 6 fumbles? He'll continue to get better as the season goes along. Our running game however may need a little more talent on the OL to improve. This is the same line (minus a freshmen at RG) that was last in the nation in rushing last year including one game with -17 rushing yards.
