One of the biggest moments from the Gus press conference today was T-Mo leaking what the players wanted from their next head coach. we have all speculated that there was a divide between the offensive staff and defensive staff, but now it was confirmed. The players saying they wanted more balance with their high powered offense. How they wanted their defense to be on the field less. Also I think a key thing was when T-MO said the players wanted a coach that aligned to their values. Heupel, supposedly, was a dick. And also a coach that “treated them like more than just football players.” So yeah T-Mo essentially showed how the players felt about Heupel now that hes gone. That was a sly and clever move by T-Mo.
