No NBC for Sunday night football due to an impasse in negotiations. Hearst claiming on wesh.com that DIRECTV is demanding below market rates for rebroadcast. I've got to wonder what market rates are for a station that is free over-the-air?

Edit: At least subscribers can watch through the NBC Sports app. Go Lions! Beat the Pack.

In guessing it's for all of the NBC Universal channels. Such bullshit. Shitty "Spectrum" is now issuing warnings similar to this here in Pinellas.

I wouldn't mind a bit if I lost such great channels as MSNBC tbh. But I'm going to get an earful when the fiancé can't watch Grimm and Blindspot.

Playstation Vue dropped most the Viacom channels. It sounds like they are trying to raise their content rates which pushes up our rates.

He likes those shows???
Haha, yeah, the fiancé carries a gun and a badge for a living. But definitely a female. From birth. <faux outrage>I can't believe an enlightened liberal such as yourself would make such a bigoted and sexist comment.</faux outrage>

LOL. It's just that a fiancé is a dude. A fiancée is a woman.

AND I'M OUTRAGED THAT YOU CALLED ME A ENLIGHTENED LIBERAL.

Wow, way to Be semantic. Also, I thought you'd complain about enlightened liberal being redundant.

WFTV was airing radio ads about its carriage fee dispute with DirecTV as well. And NBC/Universal is having its fight with Spectrum right now, too. What I find odd about this is that initially, DirecTV didn't carry local OTA channels IIRC. They added them in later.
