So we’re clearly on the bubble. What do we need to do in our last 4 games to get in?
@ USF (#6 AAC; 7-7; 18-9)
@Houston (#8 nation; #1 AAC; 13-1; 26-1)
Cincy (#23 nation; #2 AAC; 12-2; 18-4)
@Temple (#4 AAC; 10-4; 20-7)
Last time we played these 4 teams earlier this season, we went 2-2 with 3 home games & 1 road game:
-Beat USF by 13 @ home
-Lost to Houston by 9 @ home
-Lost to Cincy by 5 on the road
-Beat Temple by 5 @ home
We have, by far, the most difficult remaining schedule of any team in the AAC. 3 of our 4 remaining games are on the road and we’re playing the 1st, 2nd, 4th, & 6th ranked teams in our conference, with combined 75% conference winning percentage & 81% overall winning percentage, including the #8 & #23 ranked teams in the country.
So what do we need to do to get in? I’m not saying 100% guaranteed we’re in, but what do you think we need to do in our next 4 games to give us at least a 70% chance of making the tournament.
