What if the next group of WRs is better than one's leaving?

Everybody knows Holman has a gun.

What if he continues to settle down and can consistently get the football
to this next group of receivers who have both height and speed?

:)

Justin will develop into NFL talent. You heard it here first. With Danny now a dedicated QB coach, UCF will be unstoppable. All we need to do are get the kids on the receiving side that can produce.

The WRs can have black holes for hands and cheetah like speed. The QB can have a cannon arm with sniper accuracy. If the OLine still resembles a set of turnstiles, it won't matter at all.

I think part of the reason we had those up and down years in the past was the inconsistent
play of the OL.

I'm hoping we're over that this season. I've watched lately some of the OL studs we've recruited
and some combination has to gel this season. Also, there are some who weren't high on Key (not me)
so this year they can't pick on him any more as he is OC.

Just haven't witnessed us having two years in a row of problems lately with any unit.
GOL's ability to re-load and get the right coaches to do the job doesn't span multiple seasons.

I agree with you and I would add that the inconsistency had much to do with the lack of depth at all positions. Recruiting one stud for a position will not do it. you have to have consistent recruiting in every position. It has taken UCF a long time, but we finally have some depth at every position. So when a player comes in and plays as a true Freshman you know he is doing something special.

That's a gutsy prediction, but I can't bring myself to say that it isn't possible. He still has two years of eligibility left, and he's a great athlete, so who knows?

Yeah, I'd wager those odds aren't anywhere near in his favor but it's not like he's lacking in some metric which physically can't be addressed (speed/size/arm strength/etc).
