basically during the iowa vs iowa st college game day show, a dude had a sign asking for beer money.

he got a ton of money and decided to donate it to charity. word got out he was donating it to charity and even more people donated money.

some "journalist" wasnt happy about that so he dug through the guys twitter account and found some bad stuff he said as a teenager and wrote a story about it.

people get pissed off the "journalist" would do that to a guy that just raised $500k for charity and decide to dig through the "journalist" history. turns out he had a ton of bad posts as well.

Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) - Too many #metoo and SJW 'leaders' don't seem to think it will happen to them, and then it does. That's what both Liberals and Libertarians keep trying to warn Progressives about, let alone where the US Media has headed into.

I.e., no institution in the US is more important than its Media, and when the American public does not want to trust it ... we're really in trouble!

The US Media needs to get back to representing the people ... not insulting it and looking for blame, conflict and hate. At least the article from the paper does try to address much of that.

This dudes tweets seem fine to me. The n word tweets were quotes or RTs and the ones calling craisins gay were accurate because I believe in 2013 only the gays had discovered how incredible craisins are. And f*ck all cops is still accurate today. I see nothing problematic here.

In fairness, his posts aren't racist. Him calling stuff he didn't like gay is the worst thing he said and while I was probably past that in about 2007 I'm not canceling people for it when it was pretty much a staple of white male adolescence until for a very long time.

At some point America is going to have to figure out how we deal with millennials past transgressions when our generation is the first to have our entire lives be documented.

Somewhere out there is a potential great leader who will never be president because he called his friend a fag on MySpace in 2002. That's a problem that America needs to solve and it's not going to be baby boomer business owners firing people for quoting Kanye West lyrics that get us there.
