The announcers on the telecast is so much better tonight than the other guys. The one guy who does the color commentating sounds like Marc Daniels, nephew or something. It’s all about himself and not the game.

Sellers looked good tonight active n lacked a lot of rust. Good to see. They played well overall.

Virginia Tech must be really, really bad though, Jacksonville beat them. Jacksonville is probably the worst team that we played yet.

According to the box score Mikey Williams played 3:12 minutes with no other stats. I didn't see the game.

He got an assist on a really nice pass to Jocius that resulted in a dunk.

Some observations....we won't be playing Jax caliber teams in conference (we beat 'em by 40 last year) so we've got to get better at the start of games (slow start again and we won despite an awful first half by Darius (-0-) pts with multiple turnovers), Sellers played well despite some rust, Thiam continues to look more comfortable, and Juice was the catalyst in this game. Time to raise our game up a notch starting with Texas Tech.

Watch the highlights link above...It was 2-0 almost 4 minutes into the game....we did shoot better from 3 led by Juice (Ivey-Curry) starting later in the 1st half.

That was on a pick and roll...and he made another good pass to Jocius later (same play) but Rocus didn't finish. Mikey is a really good passer, and Johnny should work him into the game with Jocius. It's obvious that Mikey can not only contribute but he can lift Jocius' game. And it's a change of pace since pick and roll isn't Thiam's game.
