After going 2-2 in the American Tournament, UCF Baseball now awaits to learn of their fate.

As of Sunday morning, the Knights are on either the right or wrong side of the bubble depending on which projections you prefer.

D1Baseball has UCF as the next to last team in:

Baseball America has UCF as the first team out:

Positives for UCF include a strong finish over the last month of the season, but potential negatives include a losing conference record and a slightly dropping RPI (UCF dropped five spots from 41 to 46 after losing to Cincinnati yesterday).

The bubble could shrink - and definitely squeeze out UCF - if there are upsets today in conference tournaments.

From D1Baseball:

Bubble teams aren’t out of the woods yet, as teams outside at-large range could steal swoop in and grab automatic bids Sunday in the American (Cincinnati), A-Sun (Stetson), Big 12 (TCU, though the Frogs have played their way back onto the bubble) and Big Ten (the winner of the Ohio State/Minnesota semifinal). Also keep an eye on Conference USA, where Southern Miss remains one of our first five teams outside the field of 64, but could snag the auto bid and turn C-USA into a two-bid league if it takes down FAU in Sunday’s final.

The NCAA Selection Show is 12 noon on Monday.
