Knightline spoke about this today on their show. A matchup with USF in the Cure may not be out of the realm of possibility and may be heavily encouraged by ESPN.
I would welcome that or a Big10 game in Birmingham.

Yes. The NCAA denied James Madison and Jacksonville State bowl game participation today. 6 wins you are guaranteed and 5 wins is still possible if bowl games aren’t filled.
Yep, there is only a chance if there aren’t enough 6 win teams to fill the games. It can swing either way though, some years it’s like that where some 5-7 teams can get in, and there’s some years where there are too many 6-6 teams so some don’t get in
