so let's assume for sh*Ts and giggles Army beats ND and jumps into the top 10. The four highest ranked conference champions get in: Texas (Or whoever wins SEC), Oregon (or whoever wins Big 1G), Army (AAC champion) and Boise (MWC champion) then the next seven highest rated teams (3 from Big 1G [ all one loss and maybe 2 loss Ohio State]) and 3 of the 2 loss SEC schools and the ACC champion. Big 12 is left out.
This is actually looking like the way it's probably going to be.
