Will as many people travel to an away game or more next year, knowing we will be in a total rebuild?

I’m planning on going to BYU and doing a Park City trip around it (if the date makes sense)….but how many of our fans will still travel to away games next year knowing there will be few wins in that season most likely.

Also - when do we imagine next years schedule coming out? This year was early February, but it was the first year with 16 teams and it was before they had all the home and away games set for a few years.

Hoping we find out earlier.

CFP question: what’s better for the B12?

Indulge me for a minute.

What’s bigger for the B12 in terms of optics as a more successful year for the conference:

Getting two teams in the CFP but losing fairly quickly (first and/or second round) or getting one team in and making it to final 4 (and losing)?

Like March madness. We can send the most teams every year but some years the B12 might not make it far (2024).

Where an American can send one/two team and makes it to the final four.

NIL Fund/Recruiting

With all the decommitments we've had, shouldn't that have free'd up a lot of money that we probably had committed to those players? Allowing us to go after some guys/flip targets as we approach ESD?

Feel like in the past month we haven't heard a single new name on the radar that we're going after, has Gus just waived the white flag and is already one foot out the door? Recruiting seems way to quiet right now.

And before people say "no one wants to come here" I'm not just talking about highly ranked/4 star prospects. We're not even hearing anything about 3 star/developmental pieces that we've constantly been able to recruit every cycle before being a P4 school.

Money talks in todays recruiting world, schools with terrible on field products are still able to recruit effectively with NIL, there's no reason for us to not be able to pivot to anyone else after losing all these commits.

Naming the yet to be constructed football admin building the Taylor A. Gerring Football Center is on tomorrow’s Board of Trustees agenda.

Any idea how much the related donation will be? I don’t recall the donation being announced previously. Did I miss it? Or has it not been announced?

The future of college sports

Marc had a great segment on Tuesday. There is so much good information about what the new landscape will look like. Roster changes, player cuts, budgeting. It’s worth the listen. There will be so much stress put on revenue increases and fundraising for so many things. Give it the time. I feel many will find it interesting
