I’ve seen posters say UCF is too poor to fire Gus. Andy Staples says there are a bunch of schools too poor to fire their head football coach.

I am just beside myself right now. For at least the 2nd time this season UCF has lost a game because of the coaches NOT the players. I am not saying the players were perfect but there were at least two just unforgivable coaching calls that cost us that game, gonna hit the Slows first again...

Landon Duckworth reopened his recruitment earlier this summer after a brief period verbally committed to the Gamecocks.

Duckworth, the No. 3-ranked QB in the Rivals250 for the 2026 class out of Jackson (Ala.) High School, is now gaining more clarity in his recruitment.

Just praying to God that Gus does not run him off. Trying to blame even an ounce on him last night is just plain irresponsible. I don’t understand why he seems to hate the kid.

All of our NIL should go to ensuring we keep this guy in Black and Gold. I really do see something in him. What he has done the last 3 games shows this isn’t a fluke, especially last night being on the road. Accurate throws all over the place. Can scramble when needed. Shows passion and leadership as well. Literally just one bad throw and it was a position he was put in, by utter incompetence in ST and incompetent coaching.

Pretty sad that the most visible player for UCF right now is Jordan Atkins with 172 yards and a TD. Mike Hughes gets some playing time and hasn't done much. Gabe Davis is a non-factor since leaving the Bills with 212 yards and 2 tds in 7 games played.

Why isn't there more of a UCF presence in the NFL??

For me, the biggest difference I saw was calling for passes on what would be considered obvious running downs.

Case in point, the 2nd TD to Pittman at the 2-3 yard line, traditionally we would of have tried to smash it in, but Rizk RPO action froze the defender just enough to drop that dime to Pittman.

It showed aggression. I saw plays called that were never called from Gus's playbook.

and you know it's true. He's a moron, and it never should have been this close, but thank God he was fired from OC. It's just going to take awhile for the players to shed off the crap Gus piled on them. I know everyone will hate this, but Thank God For an Interesting Game! Crap end of the 1st half and the end of the game, but be honest, if no changes were made and Roof was DC and Gus was OC there's no doubt this game would have been 40-3 if we were lucky. It just takes many weeks to unlearn all the mistakes that Gus taught them.

Field goal on 4th and 2 is unacceptable. We score there we win the game. I think we had over 90% chance of scoring there. Defense was on their heels. Even if we get the field goal still only a six point lead. Makes absolutely no sense!!!!



Wildcat with 4 receivers on fourth and two on our own 30? They knew we weren’t throwing it. They knew we were gonna run it. They had numbers. We had no chance of converting that. Also, not like it worked earlier in the game! That play hadn’t worked all night!



Why does Gus like going one dimensional in the most critical of situations.

Hey Yall,
I am bringing my son Kyle to the Utah game and he is in a wheel chair. I have purchased 1 handicap and 1 companion seat in Section 113.

My season tickets are in 207. My wife, daughter and son in law will be in our regular seats. I am throwing it out there if anyone here has handicap seats on the walkway below 207/206 that may be willing to swap 1 companion and handicap spot for a wheelchair?

If not it's ok. I will be sitting with my son either way.
