I was concentrating on video for the game action, so this gallery is 90% fans in the stands.

Some observations from watching live from Row A in the endzone.

• Boomer is an upgrade, but the bar is extremely low. Colton missed an XP right in front of us while warming up before the 2nd half. I pray its 1st game jitters.
• RJ runs extremely well. If there was ever a mash-up of a big power back like Bowser, and a speedy back like AK, it’s Harvey. Not as shifty as Richardson or Otis, but had speed that stood out.
• The freaking early drops were maddening. JRP has his bad throws, every QB does, but we really need to capitalize on the good throws, especially when they’re from a “running” QB.
• The defense was literally getting trampled over those couple of drives in the 1st quarter. I was concerned about Perry and the RBs going into this game after L’ville. They have a lot of speed at RB. Felt like any time Mobley touched the ball they made progress. But we shored that up quite quickly, T-Will was all over the guys on the sidelines, loved seeing his intensity.
• The penalties were not missed lol. I mean one pretty egregious PI call but overall super clean, especially from the OL.
• JRP is a freak. Seriously, I don’t know if we’ve ever had this kind of raw athletic ability at QB since DC. Maybe Godfrey is the closest, but Plumlee is special.

Side notes; got to chat it up with @Brandon for a minute, finally met the man behind the madness of this forum lol. We were both excited to see Boomer make a damn FG. Also got a fist bump from KZ, who was on the sidelines seemingly the entire game. Most notable, a friendly nod from the legend himself, Mr. Daunte Culpepper, who was walking around the back of the endzone. What a massive human being lol.

Hopefully, we can parlay this into another win against GT, and then go into conference play against SMU with momentum.

I always pull for them in OOC games. I know some people don’t care or actively root against them (Cincy, USF, etc.)

Daniels is breaking down the timeline of UW offer (was suppose to start in 2024 but then UF offered game the same year), and just noted TM has deals with other P5 teams....but those deals are on hold as some conf might be moving from 8 conf games to 9 (probably SEC, maybe ACC).

Marc DID NOT say these were home-home deals (they could be) but I'm nervous that TM woukd jump at another 2-for-1 deals, even though UCF is now a P5 program.

Did his 2-for-1 deal with UF make other SEC Teams jump at the same unfair deal (to UCF)?

Hope not....as I think DW at Tennessee (he LOVES home games as UT had EIGHT home games last year) might have thrown out a 2 for 1 and TM might have taken it.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more discussion on this but the announcement of the expanded 12 team college playoffs is a double blessing for our program.


1st - we get into Big 12.

2nd - with a conference championship in Big 12 we will get into the playoffs.
With a one loss season we have a big chance of making it as well.

Inconceivably, we continue to lack even decent apparel options — except for +$100 Tommy Bahama polos.

To make up for that shortfall, would there be any interest in UCF / Dungeon apparel—notwithstanding licensing/trademark restrictions (although maybe @Brandon has some pull with UCF marketing and can get permission).

Also, I thought this may be a good opportunity for The Dungeon to team up with @SW Knight NIL people and identify player(s) to tie to certain apparel offerings, so our guys can benefit too.

Seems like win-win-win: we get better apparel, B gets a kick-back and players benefit through NIL.

Now, I will look forward to these ideas being shot down.

I was so elated looking at the long range forecast for Saturday and it shows CLEAR SKIES and a temperature of 85 degrees for our game with Georgia Tech.

Sounds like great weather for our Team to play in.
