Inspired by Gus “Drip God” Malzahn? UCF Tommy Bahama Gear on Sale 🚨

Other schools got cooler stuff but we have a few shirts and quarter zips.

edit: shit the link doesn’t go direct to Ucf. Go to tan wear, collegiate by school, and “Central Florida” has a selection. Our brand people have to tell retailers to label us as UCF. USC is USC on here.

Annoying but let’s focus on the positive, you can tailgate in a silk floral jammie buttondown for a fair price, folks

Suite/Cabana Single Game Ticket Question

I just recently learned that our annual Fall Theme Park Extravaganza this year will happen on a home game weekend (Sept 24). I haven’t been to the Bounce House in ages and will be traveling with another couple. What’s the best course of action to take to secure 4 seats in an area suited for the elite? Or in the Cabana. Some place with nice bathrooms and adult beverages (though today they are sold everywhere in the stadium). I would like a premium experience.

I am in the initial research phase right now as the other couple hasn’t been told of my plans yet 🤣😂

Here is the unlisted video link for tonight's Dungeon Live. Always looking for a few folks to join in. Can be audio too - don't have to use video if you don't want to. Smartphones will work to connect (don't need a laptop/desktop).

We'll start with a remembrance of Lynne Cheek, talk about the QB competition, should UCF go after Timmy McClain and whatever else comes to mind. Will try to keep it condensed to within an hour.

Send me a DM if you're interested in jumping on.

SBJ: Fox, CBS, NBC look likely to win Big Ten deals. ESPN likely frozen out and will be 'aggressive' for Big 12 / Pac-12 rights.

Some actual legit reporting and not just entirely speculative tweets by expansionista twitter accounts, so I made this its own thread. Didn't want this to get drowned out in that 200+ page thread.

Barring a last-minute change of direction in the Big Ten’s media rights negotiations, ESPN will be without the conference’s football and basketball games for the first time in 40 years. With Big Ten negotiations nearing an end -- I’m told agreements could be reached by the end of this week or push into next -- CBS and NBC have emerged as the clear front runners to pick up Big Ten rights alongside Fox Sports.
Conversations with several sources describe ESPN on the outside looking in with a bid that is not big enough to secure a deal. All it takes is a Chapek phone call to increase that bid.
The conference’s deals with CBS and NBC are not finalized. But it looks like the two networks are in the lead to split a "B" package. CBS would pick up games for the 3:30pm ET window, and NBC would carry games in primetime. NBC’s streaming service, Peacock, also would wind up carrying some games. Amazon has bid on these packages, but sources described CBS and NBC as the clear front-runners.
If ESPN moves on from the Big Ten, look for the company to be especially aggressive in trying to secure Big 12 and Pac-12 rights, as well as renewing its deals with the NCAA Championships and College Football Playoffs.

OT: Orange County Rent Control

Orange County commissioners vote to put rent control on November ballot

An independent study that cost the county $60,000 found that the rent situation does not qualify for declaring an emergency and that a rent cap alone is among the least effective solutions.

McKenna Melville, arguably the greatest player in UCF Volleyball history, has an opportunity to do something that's never been done: Win five conference championships.

An impact player from the day she arrived (Freshman of the Year in the American), Melville is coming off two seasons with American Player of the Year honors. Last season, she led the nation with 701 points and 617 kills while earning a spot on the VolleyballMag.com All-America second team and AVCA All-American third team.

Now thanks to an extra year of eligibility, Melville looks to secure her fifth ring this fall. UCFSports.com caught up with the Minnesota native at the recent media day to talk about why she came back, her development into becoming an elite player, future career plans and more.
