Caden Story did not sign

Caden Story was one of the "Bounce House Weekend" visitors that ultimately committed to Auburn. It came out earlier this week he would not be signing with Auburn. There's a rumor on Auburn boards, no idea if credible, that Story thought he was about to get a committable offer from Georgia and wanted to flip there, and when Auburn found out they processed him. Then UGA hit their targets and didn't have room for him. No idea how legit, but he's still available.

This is what his dad said though:

“He’s still committed to Auburn, still loves Auburn and wants to be a part of Auburn family,” Clifford Story said. “It’s nothing to do with change of mind or change of heart. We just feel it is best to wait right now.”

“We’ve been extremely busy, and the date kind of just ran up on me,” Clifford Story said. “I didn’t want to rush it and throw it together. We’ve been dealing with issues on the school side as far as location and some other things. I wanted it to be special, so we decided to wait and do it in February.”

Transfer portal rankings...UCF is #6

I've only posted once before; however, had some time this afternoon and took the 247 transfer player rankings for the top 99 teams and re-ranked them based on (1) the average player rank and then (2) a calculated total value based on avg player rank * # commits. I didn't use the provided Total on 247 as I don't know how it is determined.

This created two separate rankings, one for average and one for totalcalc and then I weighted the average rank by 60% and the totalcalc rank by 40% to get a final weighted rank. Below are the results...UCF is #6 (tied with Notre Dame & California). Interestingly Florida #17, Miami #18, FSU #22 and USF is #67 lol. Looks like UCF is the runaway top dog for transfer portal commitments in the state!
