Remember...run dominance...even in the 1st half...eventually tired down the TCU D in the 2nd half...and THAT allowed the passing game to open up.Thoughts are we cant defend a good passing team
We have drastically improved on run defense though
We are run dominant
We have work to do passing
Stick to what you do best...and that is RUN the ball and then take shots downfield when they open up.
Also...the D has been very solid against the run...which was the #1 priority this past off-season and while pass D struggled, especially in the first half...they did hold TCU to just 2 FG's in the final 28:32 of the game.
See what you can do with the pass D (remember, we are missing our 2023 All-Big 12 Honorable Mention CB right now due to injury) but keep the focus on stopping the run...as not every QB will be as hot as TCU QB was on Saturday night.
