Ann Coulter, yesterday tweeted after the shutdown-ended that Donald Trump was the wimpiest president in U.S. history.

She also joked about Trump’s ever-downsizing wall-turned-fence: “Now it’s a gentle little garden trellis.”

Trump shut down the Government at her urging and after a month of following this ditzy broad's advice, THIS is the kind of gratitude he gets from her?!?!?? Sheeeeesh.

Shocking to see people have a difference of opinion? The wimpiest was definitely obummer. The guy literally had an apology tour and the weakest dude in the history of the world.

Yeah, the selective vision around here is truly a case of seeing what you want to believe.

Trump disses HIS OWN INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES and says he believes Russia's Putin, one of the most evil dictators in the world today.

And let's not forget his love affair with that little tin-horn dictator from North Korea.

But President Obama was SO WEAK in comparison to Putin's knobshiner, right guys? [eyeroll]

How to be an amazing business man. Waste 5 weeks, untold billions of dollars, piss off both your hardcore base AND allies, make life worse for literally the entire country all to end up where you could have been at day 1.

The Art of the Deal by Trump.

Liberals follow AC more than conservatives do. It’s pathetic. She has a tiny following but gets booked by being a loud mouthed idiot.

The shut down didn't cost anything, Think of how much toilet paper we saved at $22.99 a roll.

It was a joke dumb ass. Ever hear of sarcasm..

It’s not over yet. He will get his wall in the end.

He was losing some of his peeps. He’s for the people and they weren’t getting paid. He gambled and sort of lost. He had to give in
The Democrats hate him. so they wouldn’t budge

However, they were exposed to the American people, not Trump. They could have had a DACA deal and in the end, they will lose everything. That was the Trump card that showed their hate for Trump is greater then their compassion for people

When you announce to the World that your wall is so important you're willing to shut down the Government to get it, the people weren't getting paid in the first place because Trump was more than willing to play hardball with their paychecks.

But once the shutdown became the longest in our country's history, he was in a pickle because Americans understood who was to blame.

Are you for real?!?!?!?! The Democrats turned down a three-year grace period for the dreamers and THAT is supposed to be a big deal? My God, that would be like Trump agreeing to temporary walls going up for three years. Would you get goose-bumpy over that concession?

If they just funded the wall, none of this would ever have happened. They hate Trump plain and simple. Democrats are dividing the country

Give the man his damn wall. His campaign promise.

Now CNN is saying the shutdown cost 6 billion. What a joke. That’s the fault of the Democrats

Ask yourself one simple question

Is there any possibility that ANY Democrat isn’t funding the wall because they hate Trump?

If your answer is yes. Argument over

If your answer is no. You’re lying to yourself

You act like "the wall" equals border security. For your information, Democrats and Republicans are already investing upwards to 14 billion dollars a year on border security plus another 6 billion on ICE. That's 20 billion--with a b--on border security.

The Democrats will never ever ever give into funding the wall

THAT will be THEIR campaign strategy for 2020

“Trump couldn’t even get his wall built”

He will lose some of his own voters

Nobody can prove whether it will work or not

However, a cheapass version surely will not.

Spending 20 billion a year isn't a stretch but 6 billion is? Even if an extended wall only reaps a 5% ROR thats still a 6 year payback in this situation, which is pretty good.

It just seems odd that democrats are concerned with adding a 1 time increase of 2% to the budget when we spend 6.6% of the budget each year for the same purpose.
Heck, we add that much to welfare every year even when unemployment is at record lows.

you do realize that Trump overturned the DACA and TPS protections to use as an issue then waited till the Democrats won the House to go nuclear on this Wall Issue?

Moderate Republicans didn't even want to vote for it, that's why he never pressed for it when the GOP had the majority in all 3 branches of Government for 2 years. There was a deal on the table February/March 2018 for a path to citizenship(not a temporary 1-3 year deal that continues to use these people as Hostages for Elections/midterms) for DACA that had $25 Billion for 'The Wall'/Border Security & Trump rejected it.

A physical barrier on the entire Southern Border is antiquated and a waste of money. Not to mention all the legal Eminent Domain fights in the courts. This issue is nothing more than Trump using a scapegoat/distraction for people to blame their Economic Anxiety on.

Bold move trying to use logic and facts on someone who is obviously mentally incapacitated.

I would add that Trump makes it sound like we don't have barriers on the border. We do. But taking about this would destroy the Red Hat narrative.

Government shutdown cost economy $11 billion, budget office says

Yet you had some people here who were posting stuff like "this shutdown was awesome 'cause the Government is too dang big in the first place."

Could the Government be downsized? Sure. But this moronic shutdown didn't accomplish a damn thing. But you'll still hear some of the Usual Suspects telling us, "See? The shutdown didn't hurt me so this is why we don't need no big government."

Yep, only $11 Billion (with a B) added to our federal deficit. No big deal, right guys?

Don't you see a problem here? This has become a situation where we have to spend more money than we can afford, and if we don't its going to cost even more.

On the political end of it, why wouldn't the dems agree to spend half as much as what this "cost" us just to avoid such a large expense?

Would the more fiscally responsible thing to do next month be just funding the wall project?

You want the Democrats to pay for a wall we don’t need on top of the $20 Billion we’re already spending a year on border security in order to be ‘fiscally conservative?’ Or what? Trump will have another temper tantrum and cost the American taxpayers a few more billion with a second Government shutdown?

What happened to the Party of fiscal conservatism? Once upon a time I could have sworn Republicans were concerned about spending billions of dollars and increasing the federal deficit? What happened to those people???

I'm really struggling to see the logic in how paying Billions of dollars for a wall that we don't need that won't do anything will save us money.

How about the fiscally responsible thing to do is not be giant whining vagina of a POTUS and use some common sense and logic about this wall thing.

Weakness is ignoring your faults, not owning up to your mistakes, and blaming others instead of taking ownership, like the current clown in the White House does.

We had literally just got done with having the, at the time, worst president in a generation under Bush. Obama came in and said "sorry about the past, we'll try to be better", and conservatives lost their shit.

It takes far more strength to admit when you are wrong than it does to ignore when you are.

LOL and yet the liberals here, one in particular, are utterly incapable of admitting when they’re wrong, especially when hurling around racist claims that are later proven to be utter bullshit

God I love the hypocrisy you people spew

Let's please side step through the non-facts presented here to get to facts:

1. Trump and Republicans, repeatedly, have said that the $5B is NOT for a coast to coast concrete "great wall".
2. The only people pushing this idea are liberals who need to lie and hold up this idea that "walls are racist!"
3. In his own address, Trump said that the money is for MANY causes, also to include "physical barriers where needed"
4. The money would go to CBP and be used as THEY see fit
5. Democrats know all this, but they're in a corner of their own making by shrieking about how walls/barriers are somehow racist

Also, DACA was headed to a shredding by SCOTUS given that Obama's action in 2012 was unconstitutional by almost every measure. He didn't like what Congress was doing so he usurped power not granted to the Executive and set his own immigration law. So while ya'll cheer this over and over, I'm just making a mental note for the next time you guys go into hysterics about Trump "abusing power"
