As of today, we've beaten two top 10 teams this season

Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Think this is a first for the program. It's so frustrating watching us collapse late in the season. Thought this would be a breakthrough year and we'd make the tourney. Hope we can make a run in the conference tourney but we're trending in the wrong direction.

Seems like when other teams are getting better, we aren’t. Colorado game was decent until 2nd half. They came out flat. When a few of these guys will never play college basketball again, you’d think they’d be vocal and getting others onboard for a run. Nada.

Seems like each year we start off strong and then we get worse as other teams get better. Every year that leads to our downfall at mid-season. Seems like a Dawkins trait. Seems like defense just fell apart as we approached mid-season. I think we could have beat some of these teams as of late with some defense. Again, no boxing out, opposing players waltzing in for layups or dunks. Opposing team Perimeter 3 point shooting going unchallenged in many cases. And, the lack of low post players/defenders on Dawkins squad every year. Is it money? UCF has the lowest basketball money in the league. Putting it simply, is it that we can't buy the big time players now?

Cinderella teams. Every now and then you get those wonderful Cinderella teams. At some point as an AD you've got to look around and notice them and others with much less money than we have and wonder... 'Why aren't we successful."? Hmmmm.

So, when Dawkins is fired, which ex-UCF coach will the AD hire? (just a joke)
