Banana peels are racist

A banana peel was found in a tree at a retreat for fraternities and sororities (including black fraternities/sororities) at Ole Miss. Freaking out ensued and the retreat was ended early as a result.

The kid who put it there apologized and said he put it there because he couldn't find a trash can. It sparked a racial discussion that got heated and caused the retreat to end early.

If I was there and eating Runts candy, I couldn't share it with anybody because I always skip the banana ones. If someone asked me to share all they would get is the leftover banana candies. They would say I was a racist even if I showed them my "thug life" tramp stamp tattoo.

People in Mississippi are freaked out over any form of racism? That crappy state is still stuck in 1800's. I would think it's commonplace there.
