I saw the whole thing live and it was fine, but I am sure you guys will look at a 20 second clip and run it into the ground, while never acknowledging Trump and how he misspeaks all the time.
Hillary comes out saying Biden shouldn't even debate and a day later his mind stops mid sentence (again).

That was Pelosi not Hillary, and she didnt say it out of concern for Joe, she was saying it is pointless because Trump is going to lie the entire time. But, Biden is going to debate so it's moot point.

I've been saying this for 6 months. They should create a virtual Biden. A talking head that comes onto your screen with a positive message.
I don't think it matters either way. Both sides are dug in. These will be a difficult debates to moderate. Just keep them from hitting each other.

The only people I can imagine who claim to be in that category are ones who desperately want to be on a moderated panel for a TV news segment.
Look at how the polls have moved in the last couple of weeks. Obviously a lot of people hadn't really put much though into politics yet, which is normal. Labor day has always been the starting date for the political season.
What movement? The race is exactly where it was before either convention. Biden still has a decisive lead.

The polls are the same. Trump consistently gets between 42-45%, Biden 48-51%. Trump has to figure out how to get his numbers up to 45-46% by Election Day while getting Biden to 48%, then he has a shot in the electoral college.
Wait until the next polls come out in mid-Sept, then you can see the effect of the conventions. The cake is baked.

We will see momentum by then, which is the 2nd most important metric but still doesn't paint the entire picture. I'm willing to bet that nationally it will be a dead heat in the last week of October. At that point it comes down to excitement for a candidate.
Trump is the grandpa who you are starting to be concerned about; Biden is the grandpa that you quickly usher to an assisted living facility.
I dont think Trump even reads. They're both old and one can argue Biden is having some senile moments (not dementia or Alzheimer's like people claim)..but Trump just comes off as a total dumbass

Joe Biden was arrested trying to free Andrew Jackson from a Vietnam POW camp while visiting New Zealand on vacation. Also Brian Williams was there too.
